Catching up
Hello everyone!
I hope you are all doing well. This is about a week or so in to our quarantine from the Corona Virus (aka Covid-19, Wuhan virus, Chinese virus)...and we're all adjusting to this new way of life. Although temporary, it was a fairly quick change over from what was our normal to making life inside our home the normal.
I know many of you are out of work, or have drastically cut work hours. Either way, many of you are suffering financial challenges and I am sorry to hear that. As I mentioned before, I am lucky to be able to work from my home and continue logging work hours and receiving a paycheck. A quick thank you to all of your who are working in industries such as transportation, deliveries, restaurants that are still open providing food options for people and of course all emergency services folks, police, fire, medical etc. Thank you all for continuing to work despite the risk you face. You will be a part of the workforce that keeps this great nation running and keeps us from collapse during this trying time.
Sorry if that feels like a bit of a downer, it sort of is but I don't want to pretend this isn't happening and I'd rather touch base on it out of respect to those out of work and opposite, for those working.
Ok, enough rambling. This will now be very anti-climatic but I really intended this post to be an update that I am filling some of my downtime by catching up on editing footage that I've had going back 6 months! Overall it's not a ton of events, but it does come out to 5 or 6 videos that I'll be posting to Youtube this week.
Sorry for the delay on these, it is quite amazing how time can get away from you. We were truly busy from Oct 2019 through Feb 2020. Almost every weekend we had something to do, whether it was a fun event, or just a get together with friends or family, we were just busy. So thank you for your patience and I hope you enjoy the videos.
