Quarantined

Hello everyone!

My apologies for not keeping up with this blog as I intended. Life has been rolling and free-time has become a valuable resource; one that I have been lacking...Until now!

As most American's at this time, March 24, 2020, I am self-quarantined in my home, along with Marzz and our dog.

So far it has been fine. Marzz and I and among the lucky ones who are able to work from home and continue to log work hours and therefore receive a paycheck. We understand there are many who are not so lucky, and to those, our hearts go out to and we can only hope this passes quickly and safely and we all can resume work and our lives.

There is way too much noise in the media these days, and regardless how you many feel about it any of the decisions being made lately by local, state and federal governments, the media only wants to scare us and get "clicks". It is a shame and truly a tragedy. Without getting into some long-winded, pointless debate about it, I'm simply suggesting that we all give ourselves a break during this time. Turn off the media, on whatever device(s) that it's coming to you from. You'll be glad you did. Really the only thing we should watch are the daily briefings from President Trump pertaining to the Corona Virus because he is with the head of the Infectious Disease Control Center and other experts who are providing valuable information and by watching you can hear it from them directly, no translation needed by the media. It is as transparent as you can get.

Many of you are posting family time, playing games, doing arts and crafts and just spending quality time with each other. I think you have the right idea and you will come out of this better for having done that.

For those of you who have to continue to physically go to work, we thank you! You obviously work in an industry that is required to keep the country running, either through safety and emergency services, utilities and transportation of goods and services. Thank you for continuing to work, thank you for keeping things together.

There really isn't a point to this post. It is not meant to be a political statement or anything like that. Really it was an opportunity for me to get back on our web page and post something!

I do hope that everyone is staying safe, taking care of themselves and loved ones. I hope that this whole pandemic is resolved soon and the country and go back to work, our economy can recover and we can continue our lives.

"Hope is a good thing. Maybe the best of things...and no good thing ever dies." - Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins, Shawshank Redemption)

Take care everyone, and hopefully real soon I will get caught up on our YouTube page with videos that I have been meaning to post for 6 months!!!! Again, sorry that we've either been so busy or I've been so lazy....some times it's difficult to tell? Free time is a luxury and we often find that we're lacking in it.

May the force be with you, always!
