Disneyland After Dark - Star Wars Nite 2018
Hello...What do we have here?! Hello, indeed! If you have not yet heard, the Disneyland Resort is continuing their special events series: Disneyland After Dark; with an all new themed event based on the ever popular franchise Star Wars. The official title will be Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite and will take place the night of May 3, 2018 and go until 1:00AM early May 4, which Star Wars fans will know as Star Wars Day, or May the 4th Be With You! This is a great idea in my opinion, a perfect tie-in to Star Wars Day and of sure way to continue the success of Disneyland After Dark.
My girlfriend and I have our tickets! Disneyland offered a pre-sale for annual pass holders and we were able to take advantage of that. The event will be held from 9:00PM to 1:00AM beginning Thursday, May 3. This is a hard-ticketed event, meaning, even though we have annual passes, we would not have been able to attend this event without a specific ticket for this event, which cost $99.00/person. Those who purchase this ticket will be allowed into the park starting at 6:00PM, giving them a few hours to play in the park until 9:00PM when the official party event begins.
This event sounds amazing! We were unable to attend the throw-back night back in January, so we are really excited to experience this event and my lady and I are both Star Wars fans so this should be doubly exciting.
Some highlights will be specialty treats, photo opportunities with Rey before she becomes a permanent attraction at the Star Wars Launch Bay. The march of the First Order, which Walt Disney World current has at Hollywood Studios. There has been no word on whether this could become a permanent show, but a great perk for this event.
